Phones will only be answered from 9:00am-11:30am on Friday, March 21 due to a clinic-wide staff meeting. Regular phone hours will resume on Saturday, March 22 with phones answered for urgent care concerns ONLY from 8:00am until 9:20am or until the urgent care clinic fills, whichever comes first.
Monday, March 24 phones will be answered as usual from 9:00am until 11:30am and again from 1:00pm until 2:30pm.
Our wait list is currently closed, however, if you are a prospective patient who already applied on our wait list when it was open, please check your email. We only communicate with prospective patients by email. Be sure to check your spam/junk folders as well!
New patients whose wait list applications are accepted will receive communication from us by email with their first visit appointment date and 2 forms to complete. If these forms are not completed ahead of the scheduled first visit appointment, the first visit appointment will be cancelled and prospective patients will need to start the process again by reapplying on our wait list when it opens again. Please note, we have no plans to open a new wait list at this time.
If you are a prospective patient and have not heard from us, please monitor your email for any communication from us. Please do not present to the clinic or call asking if you have been accepted. The staff at the clinic don’t have access to the wait list and are unable to help you. If you are accepted you will receive an email from us with further instructions.
We are so excited to announce, Dr. Adam Cheong, who will be joining Richmond Medical Clinic in January 2025. If you submitted a waitlist application before we closed our waitlist, keep an eye on your email. Those accepted will be contacted by email.
Do not call the clinic to ask about the status of your application. Our reception staff have no access to the waitlist, nor do they have any information about the waitlist. Contacting the clinic pulls our staff away from supporting our existing patients. Instead, keep an eye on our email!
A reminder that we are accepting only a limited number of new patients and completing a waitlist application does not guarantee you will be accepted as a patient.

Dropping off a stool sample?
Please ensure to drop off all stool samples between 7:30am and 11:30am while the LifeLabs technician on site is able to assist you. Some stool tests like Calprotectin are not covered by OHIP and you are required to pay LifeLabs before dropping off the stool sample. If our technician is not on site you will not be able to drop off any stool samples requiring payment and you will have to go to another lab.
